They may analyse trade-offs, financial impact and returns of projects to provide a holistic and informed overview of the decision at hand. They can also support businesses with determining if their investment portfolio is aligned with a net zero emissions economy.

COMMON CAREER CHARACTERISTICS
Investment Analysts typically require a formal qualification in finance, accounting, commerce or economics, with the Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Finance degrees being a common entrance pathway. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in mathematics or computer sciences is also looked upon favourably, as these skillsets aid in financial modelling.
