THE ROLE

As a Community Engagement Advisor, you connect with communities to ensure renewable energy projects and network enhancements share tangible benefits, such as local jobs or community ownership. 

CONTRIBUTION TO NET ZERO

Community Engagement Advisors play a critical role in ensuring the needs of the community are considered in clean economy projects that impact. They also advocate on behalf of the community into the business that’s investing in the renewable energy or other project to build lasting relationships within the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

There is no requisite qualification for becoming a Community Engagement Advisor, though it is recommended that individuals study a Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent, to develop the requisite communications skills.
