That’s a wrap!

Across three days in Toowoomba, Gladstone and Townsville hundreds of students and job seekers discovered the career and training opportunities available in Queensland’s growing clean economy.

The transition to net zero is expected to create thousands of jobs in large-scale renewable energy construction, with these developments projected to continue for several decades.

At the Careers for Net Zero Roadshow, speakers from across industry, government, education and not-for-profit sectors delivered insights into the opportunities available in the state. Our Careers for Net Zero Champions shared their experiences training and working in the clean economy, and exhibitors from across the state and beyond connected with attendees and shared information on opportunities available right now.

We hope attendees found inspiration at the Roadshow and we look forward to continuing to help showcase the many career opportunities that will help deliver an equitable, prosperous and net zero emissions Australia.
